Scott & Julie are an award-winning, husband and wife team: Creators, Show Runners, & Executive Producers on Kate & Mim-Mim and Rev & Roll.
Team Stewart Entertainment is comprised of the talented husband and wife team, Scott and Julie Stewart. Scott and Julie are award-winning content creators and entrepreneurs based in Vancouver, Canada. The pair began their entrepreneurial careers in 2001 when they created Gecko Kids, a creative computer school. Here Julie taught over one thousand children ages 3-12. Shortly thereafter, they created and ran Speakeasy FX, an animation studio. Here Scott continued in advertising with commercials. He produced many award-winning spots for clients such as Pepsi, American Express, FedEx, ESPN, GE, just to name a few.
Later they jumped into children’s television, and in 2008-2010, they expanded their own animation studio in New Jersey, where they employed over 50 artists and produced 2 seasons of Sesame Workshop’s Emmy-winning series, Abby’s Flying Fairy School. The show won two Kidscreen Awards, one for Best Animated Series and the other for Best Preschool Program in 2012. Soon they decided to create their own content.
In 2012 they became full-time content creators and showrunners, starting with the girl-empowering series Kate & Mim-Mim for Fremantle Kids & Media and DisneyJr. Two seasons (98 x 11’) later, Kate & Mim-Mim is a global hit. Airing in 130 countries worldwide, it has consistently excellent ratings. Kate & Mim-Mim airs on DisneyJr in the US, Netflix globally, CBeebies in the UK, Family Channel in Canada, SuperRTL in Germany and CCTV in China. It has its own toy line, series of DVDs and books. Kate & Mim-Mim was the winner of the Shaw Rocket Award in 2016.
Their second original series, Rev & Roll, is currently in production at DHX. Family Jr, Alpha toys and CCTV are all on board. Their third original series, Chase & Rescue, is currently in development with Boat Rocker.
